Sarah O'Shannessy

2023 was a challenging year for me, I managed two wins for the season, the Yeronga Memorial and the Logan City Open but it was awesome to some real growth in female participation throughout the different women's divisions in our sport, especially the great representation in the FA40 division. Even though I was unable to bring home as many wins as my previous session, it was a great year full of travel including traveling to the ACT Champs, 'The Sizzler' and then to the historic Poimena Reserve in Tasmania for the Australian Disc Golf Championships along with 6 tournaments on the local Queensland Tour which did see me successfully defend the FA40 Queensland Tour Point Championship.

I am looking forward to kicking off the 2024 season with my first international event at the New Zealand Nationals in February and then coming home to compete in the Queensland Disc Golf Tour and continue to improve my own game, very proud to be representing Kingfisher Disc Golf again this season.
