Chris Palazzi

Chris started playing Ultimate in 2003 at James Cook University and has esentially been playing since. Whilst initially finding disc golf in around 2005 at a stall at Ultiamte Nationals, Chris really only started disc golf in late 2020 when the Harris Crossing course opened in Townsville. Chris' first major tournament was Queensland Open in 2021, where he won the MA4 division.

In 2022 Chris played primarly in MA2. In 2023 Chris stepped up to MA1 and placed 3rd in the Qld Tour, playing Yeronga Memorial, Gold Coast Challenge, Queensland Open, NQ Open and Sugar City Open. Stepping up to MP40 at Australian Championships 2023, Chris placed 5th and cashed to achieve Professsional PDGA status.

In 2024, Chris is scheduled to have a chronic shoudler injury fixed, which will likely involve surgery and a lot of rehab. Regardless, Chris hopes to compete in all of the NQ tournaments (Townsville, Mackay and Cairns), and hopefully Qld Open and Aus Champs. Chris will play MP40 where available, and MPO or MA1 for the smaller tournaments depending on the divisions offered.
